Well its week two after having learned I have Diabetes and all seems to be going well. I’ve been testing my blood sugar level about 5-6 times a day. I’m learning what not to eat and what I can eat and what food doesn’t mix well with my medication I’m taking. The iphone app glucose buddy located at http://www.glucosebuddy.com/ has been so helpful to me its not even funny and its one of the only apps I’d actually buy if it weren’t free. Below is an updated graph of my glucose level. On sunday it went up a little and that was the day I was at the concert. There wasn’t’ that much healthy food at the wachovia center but I ate what I could and had a great time at the John Mayer concert.
I’m contemplating getting an id bracelet. I’ve noticed one thing is that there aren’t any really cool or trendy id bracelets. Most of the ones at least for guys look horrible. I did find one I like but I’m still iffy on it. I mean girls they got everythign from home crafted shit on ebay to like cool ass tiffany looking silver id bracelets. The one I found after searching for a whiel is made by american medical id or something like that. A picture of it is below. I think I’m going to get it. What do you guys think?
