I had to get up early in the morning to fly from IPT to SFO. Considering I fly from my small airport in my town I have to fly in to the nearest lager airport which is PHL. So I had to get up at 7 am to make sure I got to the airport on time. I don’t usually get up that early. So I get to the airport and fly to Philly and when I get here I have a 4 hour layover, yes my plane got in at 10am and I don’t leave Philly until 2pm great. So I decide to head up to the club lounge for us airways and chill there for the next 4 hours waiting for my next flight. I grabbed a beer and a smoked turkey sandwich. The prices in thr club lounge are outragous but what can you do I’m not sitting down at the gat looking for an outlet for 4 hours. Just to give you an example of prices in the club lounge of us airways a corona is 5 bucks but the house beer, bud or bud lite, is only a dollar meh oh well bud lite it is. I hop on skype an talk to my man sohan since his flight got canceled to the us due to the big ash cloud covering most of Europe at this point. It comes time to leave and I went take a piss before I head down to my gate so I head to the bathrooms in the club lounge and low and behold there are no urinals just fucking stalls. Ok whatever just whip it out and take a piss which I do. I go back outside after taking a piss and notice its the women’s bathroom FML.
Time to get on my plane, first class thank god, fat man needs room on the plane. I mean seriously I’m not one of hose guys that need another seat or my left ass cheek but first class on us airways is by no means first like on virgin or other airlines but its better then coach. So her I*m chilling and I get my vodka and red bull and jam out to some blueprint 3. Then switch it up to some classic billboard top 100 of 2000 and 2002. I decided to pull out my onko dual screen net book to do some typing for the blog here while on my second vodka and redbull. After I land in charlotte its time to grab something to eat for lunch and had over to my next flight to SFO. After sitting working on my onkyo, which I take along with my matchbook pro, I think I just need one laptop and the macbook is it. I’m not a big mac fan but i’m liking my macbook more and more each day that I use it. I think the onkyo is going to go up for sale on eBay soon.
Since I’m getting in early for adtech I think its gonna be a pretty uneventful night. Might be room service and maybe a movie or something. Perhaps I’ll walk around a bit and find a nice place to eat but eating alone sucks hardcore. I’ve talked to a couple of you guys on twitter and gotten your numbers and stuff of when you are coming in and where you are staying. I’ll be staying at the intercontinental. When I get to the room I’ll take pics as I’m interested in what type of room they will give me. Considering I applied for ambassador status the upgrade should be nice but since I’m rooming with BBWolf we’ll see as I’m not sharing a king bed with him no matter how big the suite is lol.
After I landed and I got my luggage and you aren’t supposed to talk to solicitors of cabs and limos and what happens I get asked as soon as I grab my shit off the baggage clam. Oh well I just keep on walking to the taxi line I go. So of course my cab I get happens to be some shady asian guy who barely speaks and while riding the 13 miles into town I look over to my left and what do I see? About 10 strands of hair hanging from a screw holding some sign or something to the inside of the car. I took a pic of it above if you can see it.
Anyway after the ride in and the cabbie dropping me off on the side of the hotel instead of the front entrance I checked in and went up to the room. They said they would have upgraded me but they don’t have rooms with two beds on the upper floors, oh well. Nick I’m sorry but I ain’t sharing a king with ya no matter how many monitors you buy me lol. I went ahead and took pics of the room. I’m actually quite impressed for its size. Well guys I’m about to finish this post for the night. A couple of affiliates and I, Victor and whoever else he is with, are gonna go grab some food and drinks and I think thats gonna be about it for hte night.
