Today was the opening day of the conf and I wanted to hit the floor early. Or what I call early. I got there at around 11am with about 2 hours to walk around because I wanted to hit up wichcraft for the affbuzz birthday party at 1pm. Now most aff’s don’t have a plan and just start wandering around. I really don’t understand this as you want to cover as much ground as possible and have a systematic approach. Also sometimes its easier to talk to people at booths alone. Right now in this industry stuff is getting hard for everyone on finding new traffic sources. So I went in and started at the first booth on the far right and just started walking up and down. Walking around was crazy and it was so hard to talk to some people it was so crowded. Around 12pm I met up with Laura and Mike from www.Getads.com and talked some business for a little bit. I had only gotten to see about 1/4 of the booths in that hour I was there. I decided to press on and continue making my way through the crowd. It started getting towards 1pm and I only made it half way through and we had to go to the affbuzz party.
The affbuzz party was bumping. There were alot of people there and we basically overtook the upper floor of wichcraft. The majority of people on affbuzz showed up including myself. I met alot of people and introduced myself and a great time was had by all but it was getting to 2pm and it was time to head back to the conf to walk the floor again as I had only walked half way at this point.
I headed back to the conf and walked around some more. It was good to see some old friends and make some new ones. I stopped at all my usual booths to see the networks I know and work with. Brittany from over at CPA Empire/Affiliate.com hit me up on my phone and I headed over to see her at her booth. Now I love these guys, they are always decked out in shirts and shit but whats up with not making sizes for the bigger guys? I mean some of us do sit infront of a computer all day in our moms basement playing wow and drinking soda while fisting twinkies. Anyway I chatted with her for a bit to catch up on things, she’s got some nasty neighbors who now have pink flamingos and yard gnomes staring at them now. Scott, big guy shirts man. Make a couple 3xl shirts and stuff remember we got a bigger advertising space on our bodies 
.
So I finally finished walking the floor and I decided to head back to the room. I was tired and I wanted to rest before the PPC.bz party hosted and sponsored by EWA and Circa Direct. The party was at Mezzaine just a couple blocks from my hotel and around 9pm we headed on over. We walked into the place after waiting in line and met Ryan, Harrison, Liddel, and Circa and thanked them for the party and being on the vip list. Vids are credit of my man Riley Pool. For the next 2 hours everyone got their drink on courtesy of Circa Direct while YTCracker set the mood with some awesome beats. While chilling at my table, Riley pool, Ian Fernando, Rob Hustle, Mike Powell, and a couple others came by to say hi. Around 11:15pm Andre and Dirt Nasty hit the stage doing a huge set of which my faves are above that Riley shot. After Andre and Dirt were done with their set I decided it was past midnight already. We headed back to the room and were a little hungry so we ordered room service. Room service is such a great thing when you are tired and don’t want to go anywhere. I had an amazing night I will never forget that I wish lasted longer but there was another day of the conf and I had to get to bed.
