This past adtech I got new business cards, it was time for an update to my old ones that I’ve had for a couple years. Everyone who got one of my cards loved them and commented on them and how nice they were. A couple even asked me where I got them from. The company I used was called Taste Of Ink.
Now Taste of Ink is a full service company. They designed my card gave me a couple revisions, and then printed them. The overall process took a month from start to finish from submitting the initial design form to reviewing the revisions to printing them and getting them delivered. They do offer an expedited service but I choose not to use it. I ordered a sample pack of the types of cards they can do and the different design elements, I’ve included pics of the sample pack below.
The service I received was nothing but stellar. They were always in constant contact every stop of the way and always answered my emails within a prompt amount of time. The ability this company has to design and print everything allowed me to keep everything in house. When I first submitted my design proposal they ask about your company, what you want to convey about your company, and any samples in their gallery that you like the design of. They also ask if you have any company logos or previous psd or ai files to help in the design. Design process takes about a week to week and a half and then the printing takes about the same amount of time.
Overall I’m very pleased with the results, I really couldn’t be happier. If you are looking for a new redesign of your cards I highly suggest giving these people a try. For 15% of any online purchase on their site use the promo code “maypromo” and that code is valid until 6/11/2011.

That’s pretty funny, I was just looking for some high-end business cards about an hour ago and found their site. Thanks for posting the pics of the sample pack. How are those suede cards?
they are really nice, they have a nice feel and weight to them.
So are the ones that you bought paper or plastic? Also you didnt mention how much they were and how many you bought? Just wondering as im considering buying some!!
They look sick man.
I think the rounded corners and the plastic are two really nice professional looks to a business card. Some companies really do it over the top with their card but just putting the essentials is key.
