You were in Vegas? For a month? Yep I was…..

So right after Irene and ASE and LeadsCON I headed home for a couple days before I flew out to vegas. I was there to take care of some business which I had been working on for a while. While I was out there I was surprised at how many friends flew in and out to visit and join me and other affiliates who were out there at the same time.

Some people think that a week in vegas is too long but if you do it right you can be out there for a while. While I did have some business meetings and go to the club a couple of times while I was there it isn’t all partying. I worked everyday from when I got up till about eod pst time. I like to travel alot and I like the change of pace and scenery. Vegas is so alive at all hours of the day, some days I didn’t go to bed till 9am others I went to bed at 2am but whenever I got back to my room I was grinding till I went to bed. Being a full time affiliate isn’t easy and truthfully there isn’t such a thing as a 4 hour work week but it allows you to work from any place you have power and an internet connection.

I do gamble some times and I do get comped at the cosmo, mgm, and all harrahs properties but I also like to hotel hop, typically when I go I stay at 3 or 4 hotels just to get a change of environment since every hotel has a different theme. This time I stayed at the mandarin, planet hollywood, and vdara. Overall I had a wonderful time and I’m thankful that I’m able to get away and be able to work different places and have a good time doing so.
