$70,000 in one week arbitraging traffic with Redirect.com

Nov 18, 2012

If you are reading this now when you sign up put “heavyt” in the where did you hear about us section and I’ll take care of your account. Redirect would like me to take care of some of the people I’m referring to their platform.  Some of you have been following my fb group, facebook postings, and twitter posts regarding the screen shots of my arbitraging traffic with this platform called www.Redirect.com started by the guys over at Media Breakaway aka Cpa Empire aka Affiliate.com. Now I been working with Scott Richter and the team over at www.Redirect.com on arbing traffic with them and have had tremendous results so far. Scott originally invited me out to Colorado to handle some other business that we work on together and before we even started talking about it he pulled me aside and said “Let me show you something”. Now he mentioned what he did with it and had done in the past. I was shocked and surprised but the numbers were there right before my eyes. I heard about www.Redirect.com and the technology that was involved behind it. Brian, brian@redirect.com handles my account and manages all the traffic I send on a day to day basis. This dude is a trooper, works past 5pm, i can always get a hold of him by email phone or text, he’s my type of manager i look for in this business. Now I’m sure you want to see the screens, after all I always show proof. The first screen is when I got started and just started throwing traffic at www.Redirect.com and was trying to see what stuck. The second screen shot is after I started to optimize the traffic for the highest roi possible.   Now you might be thinking is www.Redirect.com just for arbing traffic? Actually no its not arbing traffic to this service is just one aspect that www.Redirect.com can do, if you have a network and say an affiliate runs a usa offer but traffic from canada comes through or from a country you don’t have an offer for thats where www.Redirect.com comes in and makes you money. Its also good for people who have huge domain portfolios with traffic such as typo domains or popular domains that once had...

Good news for those of us who don’t have $25,000 min. spends for media buys BUT want access to EngageBDR’s premium inventory!!  Nick Lynch, one of the baddest ass developers out there, just finalized EngageBDR’s “First Impression” RTB platform. How to move a large active prosper install – Part 1

How to move a large active prosper install – Part 1

Mar 13, 2012

I’ve been asked several times by friends in this industry how i’ve managed to transfer large prosper installs, that are currently running, from a vps or a dedicated server or from one dedicated server to a better server.  I’ve transfered servers with databases that were 4gb in size before to another server in less than a half an hour. When I mention this people are bewildered and say its impossible but it is. So over the course of the next week or two I’m gonna make a couple posts going over each step. I thought I’d break it up so it would be easy for someone to prepare and read over each part as this little series progresses but below are the topics I will be covering. Domains Hosting Server config Moving web files Begin actual downtime Moving databases Redirecting traffic New server online So without further ado……..   Domains When I have my domains especially for tracking I never have the dns on the same box and I never put the name servers there. I always use a third party dns server or the one at the registrar where I bought the domains. I then make an arecord and point the domain to the ip I gave it on the box. This allows for less time or ttl for switching hosts and or repointing websites. Therefore if you have a lp or tracker that nobody has hit before right after changing the ip it will switch it on the dns and the dns is looked up and then ip given where to send the visitor. Hosting and server config So when you get your new box where ever or from whoever you are gonna have to set it up. Most servers come with cpanel/whm on them and I prefer it on my boxes cause it make some things easier. When you get your new snazzy speedy box you are gonna want to log into your old one and mark down some things. You are gonna want to get your php version, apache version, mysql version, etc. When you login to your new box you are gonna want to upgrade or downgrade your php apache and mysql version to match...

My trip to Denver with Adperio, Affiliate.com, and Getads.

My trip to Denver with Adperio, Affiliate.com, and Getads.

Feb 8, 2012

During ASW you might have seen me hanging out with some of the Adperio girls. We had discussed flying me out to do some consulting work for them concerning a couple things and I wholeheartedly agreed that I had time in my schedule during the beginning of February that I could come out. So I packed my bags last week and hopped on a plane headed for Denver. My trip started off rocky because number oen the flight crew in philly didn’t show up and then we had to deboard due to an electrical burning smell. But finally I made it to Denver around 10pm. My driver Mo picked me up from the airport and took me to my hotel. Now for those hwo have never flown into denver, DEN is about 30 miles from the actual city of denver so you have a nice car ride into the city. Last time I was here in denver I stayed at the Magnolia which is a nice quaint hotel about 1 block from an open mall area in downtown Denver. I got into my suite that Adperio so graciously booked me and hit the sack for the next days activities. I got up the next day and was at Adperio for my day of meetings with each department. I would have grabbed pics of their offices but they just renewed their lease and the workers were running around like bee’s putting up walls and making new offices for everyone. After the first set of meetings we headed out to lunch at a beautiful place where i had a roasted red pepper soup and this awesome sandwich with home made bread and chicken with bree and apple butter on it. When we got back to the office I had another set of meetings with some of the other departments before Morgan and Mackenzie and I decided to get Pedi’s, yep I got my nails done with the girls, I gotta keep my feet fresh as well as my swag lol. While they were getting setup in their chairs I went over next door and got a bottle of veuve clicquot for me and the girls. It was funny a bunch of other girls...

The New Bevo Media for Networks Interface

The New Bevo Media for Networks Interface

Jul 14, 2011

Bevo Media has recently launched its new Networks Interface called ‘Bevo for Networks’. Currently, nothing like it exists in the affiliate marketing industry, and is definitely a huge advantage for any affiliate network with an account.   Basically, it is an extensive interface geared towards helping affiliate networks better grow and manage their businesses. They have a ton of features built exclusively for affiliate networks. NOTE: Bevo has NOT created another network tracking platform like Cake, DirectTrack, LinkTrust, etc. Rather, it is a complimentary interface compatible with all major platforms and even works with custom platforms.   The idea behind the ‘Bevo for Networks’ interface is to help affiliate networks manage their online reputations, recruit top affiliates, broker offers amongst all platforms (including custom), increase brand recognition, and to provide more information about potential fraud advertisers and publishers. The major features (without getting in to crazy detail) are as follows:   ·Offer Import Tool – Bevo Partnered Networks are able to broker offers from platform to platform (Cake to Hitpath, Linktrust to DirectTrack, etc.) with a simple click of a button. This is not the same as what the network tracking platforms have because you can broker offers to ANY network, regardless of what platform they are on. ·Buzz Control – Networks are able to manage their online reputations by receiving emails when they are mentioned on various industry forums and social media outlets. This allows them to jump directly to posts to address concerns, answer questions and possibly resist flaming. ·Use the Performance Connector to Recruit Affiliates – Bevo Publishers are prompted with the option to join the ‘Performance Connector’ upon sign up. These publishers are ready and willing to hear what networks have to say. Networks can browse through the Performance Connector and find specific publishers based on their verticals, promotion type and experience level. This is a great recruiting tool for networks as Bevo matches the networks up with good publishers using their publisher platform. ·Blacklists – See what other networks have shared about a certain advertiser or publisher and see if it’s worth the risk to do business with them. Bevo Networks will share their stories about advertisers in a...
