Stackthatmoney forums after the merge *MUST READ*

Jun 10, 2011

So its been about a month since I last reported about the stack the money forums located here http://www.stackthatmoney.com/forum and I’ve got very good news. Since then the forums have merged with Affexpert Tools, and Mr. Green bringing together a team of not only industry veterans but moderators including myself which answer and offer campaign advice on a daily basis. I literally cannot stop checking this forum to see whats new that people are posting, what new campaigns people are trying, and updates on case studies from media buying to social and ppc. For this time only they are offering access to the forums at a discount before it goes up again and there are limited spots available. So many industry people are on the forums now its uncanny. If you have been looking at getting into affiliate marketing or don’t know where to start, for the amount of money just to access this forum, this is worth every penny. Included with the forum you get the Affexpert tools, Guides from Besmir (a PPV expert) and guides from Mr. Green on Media Buys & POF. You also get a POF spy tool, Mr. Greens POF Ad Uploader, tons of discounts on 3rd party software and some new tools Besmir and Stackman have been working on which you can’t find anywhere else unless you’ve coded them yourself. Some of the info that is given away in here along with the discounts on services such as servers, spy tools, landers, etc pays for the membership itself. So head on over to http://stackthatmoney.com/newforum/1/ and sign up. If you still have doubts the list of mods and admins located on the forum speak for themselves. Another Rebill Company Closes Its Doors. Bye Jar Media….

Another Rebill Company Closes Its Doors. Bye Jar Media….

Oct 6, 2010

I got an email today from Jar Media informing me that their company is closing its doors. Its sad to see another company close its doors but its a sign of the times of where rebills have headed, its not a completely solid model anymore in today’s affiliate marketing world with all the regulations going on. I had been hit up by them a couple times to run their new stuff but I just wasn’t interested anymore. I wish them luck as the doors are locked but we must eventually move on. It is time for JAR Media to close its doors. We are grateful for your business over the years, and it has truly been a pleasure working with each and every one of you. Unfortunately, JAR is shutting down and your current links will expire by end of the week unless otherwise notified, but we would appreciate you taking down campaigns as soon as possible. All open accounts will be properly closed out and any balances will be handled. Please email us back with any questions or concerns. Wishing you the best. -JAR...

Man from France hitchhikes through 33 states in the USA and gives an unbiased view of our country and culture….

Apr 16, 2010

Its interesting to hear someone elses view on something when usually you are in the middle of things and they are on the outside looking in. This can apply to affiliate marketing as well. Having an opinion from someone not in our industry on a landing page or angle of how we decide to market a product/service is beneficial in testing and gauging response.  This gentleman has traveled other countries hitchhiking so his view isn’t so one sided as he’s been to many other countries, and from reading his impressions of the USA, isn’t one of those fuck you I have Americans french people. After Adtech London a couple affiliate friends and I hopped over to Paris and Monaco and the people in Paris were rude and didn’t give a crap about us until we tried to speak a little french. I’m not saying all French people are rude and hate Americans but we wern’t treated very nice in France atleast in Paris. Anyway back to the reason for this post. I found it interesting on how he views our culture, its definatly a must read. Head on over to http://www.tour-du-monde-autostop.fr/carnet_de_bord-details_en.php?id=50 and read his...

Automation Series Part One: What are macros and what macro software to use for automation.

Automation Series Part One: What are macros and what macro software to use for automation.

Feb 28, 2010

I will be doing a how to tutorial series over the next couple days with video and screens detailing how to use a macro program and what they could be used for and how I sometimes use them. Now onto part one of this series. I use alot of automation in some of the affiliate marketing I do on a constant basis. I like having control over what I’m doing and how I’m doing it. I don’t feel the need to contract out work for simple tasks to a 3rd world country or a bunch of Indians over in India and paying them pennies on the dollar to get simple stuff done. Some of you might be asking what a “Macro” is and by Wikipedia’s definition a Macro is “Keyboard macros and mouse macros allow short sequences of keystrokes and mouse actions to be transformed into other, usually more time-consuming, sequences of keystrokes and mouse actions. In this way, frequently-used or repetitive sequences of keystrokes and mouse movements can be automated. Separate programs for creating these macros are called macro recorders.” Now alot of people have seen pics of my office. If you go to the Office Progression link above you can see my office in its current state and whats its looked like over the years. Those who have seen it on wickedfire and other places around the net have often wondered what all the monitors were for and now you know, though they weren’t always used for macros. With having every rack server hooked up to a monitor I found it was easier to take a quick glance at a screen to see if a macro has messed up instead of flipping through a kvm switch, remember time is money and a quick glance was all I needed. The main program I use for creating and running my macros is called Automate and it is located at www.networkautomation.com and I would quote the current price (it is over $1000 dollars) of the software but it seems the website is down currently. The other one I use is called Jitbit Macro Recorder located at http://www.jitbit.com/macrorecorder.aspx and only costs $40.00 and a little bit...

The Shoemoney system and why I canceled within 15 days of signing up.

The Shoemoney system and why I canceled within 15 days of signing up.

Feb 17, 2010

Now this isn’t a rag post on Jeremy and the Shoemoney system. I’ve met Shoemoney and hung out with him a couple times at various parties in vegas and nyc. He mentioned to me he was doing a rebill and that the Shoemoney system would be going live soon. I figured why the hell not its only a couple hundred dollars a month lets see what its all about. Well being a well versed affiliate marketer I decided to go ahead anyway. 15 days into the program I canceled and got a refund. The Shoemoney system is really for beginners looking to get into affiliate marketing. It targets those not versed in all aspects of affiliate marketing and the networks that are in our industry that some of us deal with on a daily basis. The videos and web casts were great but the info I want or that would be a benefit to marketers such as myself wouldn’t be available or made available until later in the course and waiting that long while paying a couple hundred every month wouldn’t be cost effective. If you are looking to start in affiliate marketing and need a step by step guide I reccomend the Shoemoney system but for someone who is already in the industry it isn’t worth spending the money on. Jeremy on the other hand has created a good product and it covers all bases as a...
