StackThatMoney Forum and what its worth to you.

May 2, 2011

A bit ago Jordan sent out an email saying that there were a couple spots that opened up on his private affiliate forum and I decided to check it out and see what was going on there. I’m a member of a couple private forums for affiliates where we share info but for this post I’m going to focus on StackThatMoney’s private paid forum. Well I have been signed up to jordan’s aka stackthatmoney’s forum for a couple weeks now and I must say its one of the best resources I’ve come across in a private paid aff forum. The forum is filled with tons of useful info for the beginner and the seasoned marketer such as myself. I’ve known about his forums for a while and just recently was able to get into the forums as a member and contributing member. Among the various members Jordan and other individuals share info and ideas. Topics in the forums range from well documented case studies and traffic sources, to better techniques and ways to attack campaigns. A Lot of the topics in the forums covers facebook but there are also guides and studies for ppv. I must say its definitely a forum where everyone contributes. Different ideas are discussed and everyone is very open in sharing their results and how much they made on their campaigns. The thing is there is always room to somehow squeeze out more from someone elses campaign. These forums aren’t about just copying a campaign and making money, its about teaching a man how to fish, not giving him one for a day. When more spots open up be sure to grab one, I highly recommend...

If an affiliate ran over six figures, how important are they to you?

If an affiliate ran over six figures, how important are they to you?

Apr 16, 2011

Why am I posting this before my adtech recap you might ask, because I think its an important topic that begs the question, If an affiliate ran over six figures, how important are they to you? Let me ask this question, pose it to my readers. How important are affiliate relations to a company? How bad would it be to have an affiliate not taken care of who ran over 6 figures since the last conference. There is an affiliate that ran alot of traffic to a certain company that I know of. This affiliate cares alot about the manager/affiliate relationship as any should. But it seems that through out the last show his manager continually blew him off, as well as ignored attempts he made for them to meet with this manager. Now both individuals were there for a whole week, even tho the show wasn’t as long. Some background info, this affiliate who I “know” even 3 or 4 weeks ago made flight plans to go visit this company where there are located, to which the company agreed to put him up in a hotel for running as much money to the company as he did. This manager was supposed to show him the town he had never been to before, take in the sights, work at the company during the end of the week on his campaigns, and the weekend it was dinner, business, and being a tourist. This affiliate was then informed that because another pub could not decide what and where he wanted to meet this other manager, ie this manager was flying out to see this pub when he visits to the usa, that the other was more important and couldn’t lock down any time since she, oops, they wanted to keep their schedule open. Now back to adtech. This company, despite asking many times asking didn’t have anything planned but at the last minute a meet and greet was arranged but unfortunately this affliate had his meetings schedule booked a week or two in advance of the show so something so spontanious, last minute, and well short notice wouldn’t have been even considered with the ppv playbook...

Another Rebill Company Closes Its Doors. Bye Jar Media….

Another Rebill Company Closes Its Doors. Bye Jar Media….

Oct 6, 2010

I got an email today from Jar Media informing me that their company is closing its doors. Its sad to see another company close its doors but its a sign of the times of where rebills have headed, its not a completely solid model anymore in today’s affiliate marketing world with all the regulations going on. I had been hit up by them a couple times to run their new stuff but I just wasn’t interested anymore. I wish them luck as the doors are locked but we must eventually move on. It is time for JAR Media to close its doors. We are grateful for your business over the years, and it has truly been a pleasure working with each and every one of you. Unfortunately, JAR is shutting down and your current links will expire by end of the week unless otherwise notified, but we would appreciate you taking down campaigns as soon as possible. All open accounts will be properly closed out and any balances will be handled. Please email us back with any questions or concerns. Wishing you the best. -JAR...

It was my birthday, so I went to VEGAS…..

It was my birthday, so I went to VEGAS…..

Aug 11, 2010

So it was my birthday this past weekend and as I type this I’m having room service eating pizza making a post on the blog and taking a break from working. I flew into vegas on Friday of last week and due to aircraft maintenance I missed my connecting flight in philly. They put me up at a hotel and luckily they had first class seats available again the next day to Vegas. Though I am IN Vegas this week I’m not actually partying and drinking it up. I been working on alot of new things and researching offers and traffic sources for new campaigns. I been working during that day in the room, then going out to dinner at night hitting up the strip and then back to bed to do it all again the next day. In addition to doing this I’m also putting together and organizing an ASE affiliate dinner in nyc. My plate is pretty full up until ASE this week as well as the planned events and meetings I have at ASE. Right now I’m staying at the four seasons in vegas. Its a really really nice hotel. It was just as good if not better then the one in NYC I stayed at recently. Well back to the grind. Here are some pics below of the...

Spend more time making money and less time refreshing stats with Stats Remote

Spend more time making money and less time refreshing stats with Stats Remote

Stats Remote located at http://www.statsremote.com/ is a program that runs in java on a mac and a pc that will log into all your affiliate accounts and update your stats every 15 minutes. Its a great program that I’ve been using for over 2 years now. They not only have some of the top affiliate network out there but they also carry alot of adult affiliate programs as well. Just to name a few it has Sybarite Elite, Convert 2 Media, Ads 4 Dough, Copeac, Azoogle, Advaliant, Ads Direct, Firelead, Gets Ads, etc etc. The best thing about this software is you can try it for free. It does happen to be subscription based though. I love this software and any new networks that popup just talk to your am and have them approve the account statsremote creates and you can have your stats updated with all your others in a week. Now I must mention this is a subscription based service but I’m happy overall. Its also nice to have when you have over 10 accounts at some networks to seperate campaigns or just when you have alot of accounts ;). It doesn’t use alot of resources and I can tell you at one point I did have over 100 accounts loaded up in it and it ran fine without a hiccup. Below are some screens of what it looks like (this is the screen from their website and not my...
